The challenge
Listeners wanted a simple way to browse and stream regional-language radio stations by name and category, in a car or on a phone, with no sign-up required. Building three separate language products on the same pattern meant keeping the Android, iOS, web and admin pieces consistent across languages while still letting each one ship and update independently.

What we built
Each language has matching apps built on the same pattern: a native Android app (Kotlin) with search, favorites, a now-playing mini player, car-audio and Android Auto screens, scheduled sleep-timer alarms, and banner ads; a matching iOS app; a PHP/MySQL web player and REST API; and an admin panel for adding, categorizing and curating stations. Telugu and Malayalam ship Flutter builds alongside the native Android code.

How it works
- Listener opens the app and browses or searches for a station by name or category.
- They tap a station to start streaming immediately, no sign-up required.
- The now-playing mini player stays visible while they keep browsing other stations.
- In a car, they switch to the Android Auto or car-audio screen for safe playback control.
- They can favorite stations for quick access later, or set a sleep timer to stop playback automatically.
- Admins keep the station list current through the admin panel for each language.
